Patient Questionnaires

Ultimate ChiroCare™ has the patient answer various questions on different aspects of their condition.  These patient questionnaires were developed from published research.  The outcomes of the questionnaires are scored in a computer system to give the doctors a better understanding of how your problem has affected your life.

Digital X-rays

Ultimate ChiroCare™ uses a digital system from Konica Minolta to take x-rays of the spine.  This innovative technology generates superior image quality in a fraction of the time compared to traditional film based x-rays.  The details of the digital x-rays are simply amazing.  This is the same technology used in most hospitals and large medical clinics.

Digital X-Ray Analysis

Ultimate ChiroCare™ was one of the first clinics to use a sophisticated computer program to analyze the precise measurements and angles of the spine. The biomechanical report generated shows the patients results compared to research-based values of normal. One of the benefits of using this kind of computer-based system is that it can identify areas of the spine that have been injured with extreme accuracy.  One of the most critical reports generated from this program is how it analyzes the motion of the neck, which is extremely useful in whiplash injuries or patients that suffer from migraines or headaches.  The results are generated in a fourteen-page report.

Digital Posture Analysis

Research shows that posture affects every physiological function in our body from breathing to hormone production; from spinal pain to headaches (AJPM1994). For this reason Ultimate ChiroCare™ analyzes posture on every patient. The posture is measured using a computer program that measures the precise location of anatomical markers placed on the patient. The report compares the patient’s posture to research-based values of normal, and shows the patient all the values measured and generates suggested exercises to correct the postural imbalances identified.  Exams include a comparative posture analysis to show improvement. The results are generated in a sixteen-page report.

Digital Range of Motion

Each joint in our body has a normal range of motion it can move naturally.  Ultimate ChiroCare™ uses a digital device to record the actual number of degrees the joint can move, and inputs this data into a computer program that compares the patient’s range of motion to research-based values of normal.  Restrictions in range of motion can identify tight muscles and potentially other structures that are not functioning correctly around the joint.
